Surgical hair transplants leave either a linear scar, or several hundred dots at the back and nape of the crown. Follicular Unit Transplants (FUT) were more common ten years ago than they are now that Follicular Unit Extractation (FUE) are being sold as the tried and tested new option for hairloss. We examine the scar, ensure the skin is ready to be worked on, and then slowly change the scar color to a soft grey in order to blend in with the rest of the crown.
